Already queen of many hearts due to her sincere interest in other’s wellbeing, the incredible Faith Nkosi, one of the Miss Bachelorette SA 2025 finalists, has identified with Unchain Our Children’s ethos, and decided to support and join the organization’s operatives group to become part of the voice for the young generation’s promising future while wholeheartedly encouraging survivors of Gender-Based Violence on their recovery journey. She is a lecturer at University Pretoria’s Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and prior to that has been a keen researcher in the Department of Veterinary Tropical Diseases.

Faith’s beauty is obvious, but it is when you are in conversation with her that her soul speaks. A soul reflecting her love for God, her fellow man, and in particular the young adults, male and female. She speaks with wisdom and enthusiasm about her dedication to uplift young lives. She also speaks with great empathy having had a close encounter with a femicide incident.
The 2025 Finale will take place 19h00 on the evening of 26 April 2025 at the beautiful Gold Reef City.

“Science taught me to remain bold in the face of challenges, curious, and to always seek the truth. I refuse to accept injustice as “normal” and encourage people to use their voices, their minds, and their platforms, no matter how big or small, to make a difference. Most of all seek healing and never give up as one doesn’t know what is on the other side of your victory”. Faith Nkosi.
To overcome challenges, she suggested that you obtain trustworthy information. “It liberates you”, she said. For support, surround yourself with like-minded people in your community, and get a mentor who can guide you. Speak out. “let your voice be heard and discover your God-given purpose. Build your faith and relationship with God as He directs your steps and keeps you grounded in His promises and prophesies. Never give up hope.

“I want victims and survivors of Gender-Based Violence to know that we see you, we hear you, and that you are not alone. We sense both your fragility and bravery. We are ready to accompany you on your recovery road by motivating you, encouraging you, and believing in you. Be gentle with yourself and remember, it’s okay to ask for help. Women should be empowered to resist any form of abuse or the mutilations (still being practiced in some countries) where their bodies are invaded and scarred for life”.
Faith actively encourages young adults to seek education and not be limited by their immediate surroundings which often are of severe poverty or other debilitating factors.
“Life is not confined to what you can see in the present. It also exists beyond your current sight.”
She introduces young adults to the Junior Tukkie platform where they are guided to select the right subjects based on their educational background and interests. Here they learn how to improve their scores which will give them entry to universities and make them eligible for bursaries.

“The end goal of education is to equip you to become financially independent. It is imperative as many women can’t escape abusive relationships/marriages because they are financially dependent on the abuser.”
“Unchain Our Children is most fortunate to have gained the support of Faith Nkosi. Her wisdom, vision, dynamic and confident demeanor and incredible empathy will certainly uplift and enrich everyone she connects with. We are blessed and grateful for her presence with us”.
