UOC was invited to participated today with Pastor Jurgens Spies of Just Kids Global, the host of the teachers training at CLC Florida Hills for children’s ministry leaders and teachers across all denominations and included topics relevant to kids ministry - Developing a kids ministry, Activities with children and Worship with children
Amy Arnold, Unchain Our Children’s specialist operative managing counter human trafficking initiatives and investigations was invited to speak on the safety of children in ministry during one of the sessions. She emphasized the importance of child safety and warned on the dangers of the grooming techniques of child predators, the hidden dangers of social media and advised on ways to guard children and ensuring their safety. Amy also provided information on how to assist those in need as well as the ethics and procedures for teachers to follow while working with children.
