UNCHAIN OUR CHILDREN’S AMBASSADOR, IANTHE WESSELS, ENCOURAGES GBV VICTIMS TO BREAK THE SILENCE AND REACH OUT FOR HELP

Talking about gender-based violence and creating awareness are both necessary. But, doing something about it is essential. Helping an abused woman and bringing her to a place of safety away from the abuser, is the start.

Then, a process of recovery must follow, including therapy and counselling where she will find her self-worth, her confidence, and her road back to being whole. It often takes years to recover from the trauma of severe abuse, but the recovery journey starts that first day when she breaks the silence and reach out for help. Only then the cycle of abuse stops.

Refuse to be a victim of gender-based violence. Call for help today.
