A severely neglected 3-year-old was brought to safety early April by the UOC Team after we received an alert of drug related activities in an abandoned house occupied by ten adults. The house, without water and electricity supply was also home for the child and his parents. His hygiene was completely neglected, resulting in sores around his mouth. He was sleeping on a dirty mattress while his parents indulged in regular Crystal Meth use.
After all procedures were followed, the little one was placed with his grandmother. The sores are healing, and he is attending a crèche. Follow up visits are being done by the Unchain Our Children Operative in the area to monitor the wellbeing of the child.
